As the House Freedom Caucus celebrates its 10-year anniversary, its fight for hardworking Americans in Washington, D.C., has never been more important. From historic deficit reduction and spending cuts to reforming welfare programs and rolling back costly subsidies, the Freedom Caucus delivers results that protect taxpayers and promote economic growth.
The vision that established this group continues to guide its members in standing firm against the establishment and pushing for bold, conservative solutions. Our commitment to fiscal responsibility, limited government, and pro-taxpayer policies remains unwavering. For a decade, the Freedom Caucus has proven that principled leadership gets real results—and the mission is only growing stronger.

Common Sense Over Washington Mandates for Freight Rail
On Thursday, I introduced the Train Crew Choice Act, a bill to repeal the Federal Rail Administration’s (FRA) two-person crew mandate for freight trains. Previously, in 2019, the FRA concluded that ‘accident/incident data does not support a train crew staffing regulation.’ Yet the Biden-Harris administration went ahead with this mandate, which burdens small railroads with increased costs with no benefit except inflating union membership.
This bill restores common-sense flexibility, letting railroads decide how to staff their trains based on safety, technology, and efficiency—not unnecessary government mandates. Freight rail is already one of the safest ways to move goods in America, and it should stay that way.

One Big Beautiful Bill Steps Up for Southwest Missouri Farmers
The One Big Beautiful Bill ensures Missouri’s family farms and small businesses can stay in the family for generations. By expanding and making permanent the death-tax exemption, the bill prevents more than 2 million family-owned farms from facing devastating tax hikes that were set to take effect next year.
It also locks in the 20 percent small business passthrough deduction (199A), providing certainty for the 98 percent of farms that operate as passthroughs. Together, these provisions will save farmers more than $10 billion and give small businesses the stability they need to thrive.

House Republicans Repeal Costly Biden Energy Rules
This week, House Republicans voted to roll back Biden-era energy restrictions, freeing up American resources and keeping energy prices affordable and reliable for American consumers.
Key Resolutions:
- H.J. Res. 104 – Miles City Field Office, Montana: Overturns Bureau of Land Management (BLM) restrictions that blocked new coal leases in the Powder River Basin, home to 30 percent of U.S. coal reserves.
- H.J. Res. 105 – North Dakota Field Office: Repeals limits on coal, oil, and gas development across four million acres, protecting energy production and jobs.
- H.J. Res. 106 – Central Yukon, Alaska: Removes restrictive designations on 13.3 million acres, allowing critical projects like the Ambler Road and Alaska LNG Pipeline to move forward.
