MEMBERSHIP Membership into the Taney County Republicans (TCR) is an important step into the world of local, regional, state, and national politics. If you are to the point of action; this step will give you access to knowledge and opportunities you may not have had before. All money received from memberships or donations is appropriately used to support the Republican party in Taney County, Missouri, and the United States. We look forward to you being our newest member or renewing your membership to continue supporting our organization and Republican Party. Thank you for your generous support! MEMBERSHIP DETAILS Membership is obtained by contacting an Officer and requesting membership and paying the appropriate dues or by signing up for membership online and paying the appropriate dues. Membership dues sustain our organization and are applied to meeting costs, special events, supplies, supporting the Taney County Republican Central Committee, donating to the Republican Party or Republican candidates during General Elections or ballot issues endorsed by Republicans. There are two categories of Membership – Resident Membership and Non-Resident Membership. Resident Members are those members who reside inside Taney County. Resident members holding a membership for 2 years or longer are eligible to hold Officer or Board Member positions. Resident members in good standing are eligible to vote in TCR elections. Non-Resident Membership is available for those residing outside Taney County. Non-Resident Membership carries all the benefits of Resident Membership with the exception Non-Resident Members are ineligible to vote in TCR elections or hold Officer or Board Member positions. All Members are considered in good standing if membership dues are paid in full. New member dues are payable at the time membership is granted. Membership renewals are due on the same date the member first signed up and paid the appropriate dues. Multi-year memberships follow the same guidelines. TCR Secretary will contact the member one month in advance of the expiration date to remind the member their membership is expiring. Resident/Non Resident Membership Costs: 1-year membership - $35 ($2.92 per month/$.10 per day) 2-year membership - $60 ($2.50 per month/$.08 per day) 4-year membership - $100 ($2.08 per month/$.06 per day) Lifetime membership - $500 Lifetime membership for 2 members - $750 (each person would receive lifetime benefits) Current college students age 18-24 - $10 per year High school students age 18 and younger - free honorary membership. *College and High School Students need to contact TCR by phone, email, or in person for membership. |

You will receive the "Red Book" coupon booklet with local business discounts for the red at heart. It also gives you voting privilege's for officers and directors. This is the minimum membership requirement to run for either an officer or director position due to length of office terms. |
